For the past 20 years, Jeni has worked as a film & television executive, director, producer, screenwriter, musician, dancer, martial artist, and choreographer. She earned her BA in Theatre Directing & English Literature from Fordham University and her MFA in Directing for Film, Theatre & Television from CalArts. She’s directed theatre in NY & LA, gravitating towards plays like Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot & Krapp's Last Tape. She has been credited for her creative contributions to several feature films, including Law Abiding Citizen with Gerard Butler & Jamie Foxx, Parkland, and Ron Howard’s Rush. Her recent directing of the one woman show Women on the Verge, by Kimba Henderson and starring Faith Collins, earned the production a 2018 NAACP Theatre Award, as well as a Fall 2018 run in NYC. Jeni also directed  CLUB RAT$, a short film which is available online and being used to raise money for RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network). She is in pre-production on her feature film, which will be produced in 2018, and has several other projects in various stages of development. Jeni lives in LA, working as an independent filmmaker, directing music videos, musicals, stage plays, and films.
