Born & raised in SoCal, I started my dance journey at Jimmie Defore Dance Center in Orange County. As a kid, I performed with the Joffrey Ballet & was in Defore's touring company. While in High School, I was on a scholarship at Defore's & performing all over SoCal with Christine Baltes' Company, Jazz Spectrum. I've been on stage at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, The Downey Civic Light Opera House, & several other venues in CA. I attended Broadway Theatre Project in Tampa, FL where I studied Musical Theatre with Tony Award winners Ann Reinking, Joel Grey, Tommy Tune, & Ben Vereen.
I moved to NYC to attend Fordham University, where I continued training at Ailey's, Broadway Dance Center & Luigi's. I worked in NYC behind the scenes in theatre, before moving back to L.A. to earn an MFA from CalArts.
While I enjoy all styles of dance & study other types of movement, like Martial Arts, Jazz Dance is my primary passion. I've been blessed to train with Hama for awhile now & am grateful to be influenced by his lyrical, rhythmic style, as well as the jazz styles of Claude Thompson, Christine Baltes, & several other wonderful teachers. I'm avail for choreography & classes or privates. I hope to share my passion for movement with you.
